In Person - you can drop donations off in person with:
Oklahoma: Sis Henson, Kay Chanceller, Rick Condit
California: Burl Condit

2. Donate Electronically. Any amount helps. If it's easier to donate electronically, Lisa Griffin is accepting donations that she will pass along to Sis Henson and Kay Chancellor. If you need help with electronic donations, you can email Lisa at lisanangriffin@gmail.com and she can try to offer technical support.
VENMO - if you are a Venmo user, you can find Lisa @SGI-LISAGRIFFIN just indicate 'Condit Family Bible' donation in the reason when you send your payment
PAYPAL - if you are a paypal user, you can donate securely via the PayPal Link below, just indicate 'Condit Family Bible' with the gift
3. Share This Request. We need to reach as many family members as possible to request help with this project and to share the good news about the Family Bible restoration. Please forward this website to Condits in your contacts list.
Note - we are starting initially with these donation methods in order to avoid transaction fees associated with crowdsourcing tools like GoFundMe which charges a standard transaction fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per donation for personal fundraisers in the United States.
What Is Driving the Project Costs?
There are almost NO ARCHIVISTS in the United States who can do the kind of work that was required to restore the Condit Bible. Many hours of highly skilled labor and love went into the project.
How Will Funds Be Used?
Costs we incurred in the project were primarily associated with:
Cover restoration, including leather restoration.
Page repair, including mending tears safely.
Fixing the spine.
Removal of dust and mold.
Archival cleaning and protective measures.
Have We Already Paid Anything?
Yes. An initial deposit was paid when the work started. We want to recognize initial gifts from Shirley Troglin, Sis Henson, Kay Chancellor, Linda Callery, Rick Condit and Burl Condit. We also want to thank Dusty Rogers for volunteering to build an archival box custom-made to protect the Bible for future generations.
Why Invest in a Bible Restoration Project?
A Family Bible is a unique gift from past generations to future family members. Once lost, it can not be replaced. Investing in a Bible restoration project:
Preserves history.
Captures our lineage.
Stops damage.
Prevents further tearing.
Saves memories.
Protects handwritten notes.
Creates a lasting legacy.
Ensures future generations can see the Bible.
