For decades, we believed the old Condit Family Bible—a treasured relic from the 1800s—was lost forever. Happily, it was found recently in California, fragile and badly damaged, but still carrying the names, stories, and history of our family. 

We found specialists to do the work needed to save the rapidly disintegrating Family Bible, but the remaining restoration cost is about $4,500. A few family members have already contributed.
